One Secret:
They re all other people s secrets
T te- -t te with your VJ
What did you want to be when you were growing up? A VJ, or was that
unplanned?
I always wanted to be a movie director. But could also see myself
being a music and movie critic, or a VJ, on the side
Who matters the most in your life?
Me
Are you seeing anyone and if not, what kind of a woman would you date?
Not at the moment. I like people who are original and honest, large
hearted, secure, well-scrubbed, atleast semi-resolved and beautiful
What is the most amazing experience you've had while traveling?
Too many from digging into a genuine Chateaubriand at Louis XV to
driving a Pagani Zonda in the Tuscan Hills skydives and mad chance
encounters aside
How good are you in the kitchen?
Used to be useless but getting much better
What has been the ultimate twist of fate in your life?
Too many to be honest. But they were all so important yet not
singularly significant. So many pivotal characters, moments,
references and twists. My background itself was a deciding factor
that forever changed whatever else I was going to be
Are you a workout enthusiast? What is your exercise routine like?
I m not a big fan of time in the gym . It s always exciting,
initially. But the very thought of going seems ridiculous after a
few inspired sessions. I do go nuts from time to time though. Then I
swim, run 7kms and do super-sets in the gym all one the same day.
Mostly it is my active routine I revel in. I stretch very
enthusiastically every morning, do fifty push ups or twenty pull ups
or two hundred crunches and sixty leg raises, every alternate day.
But more than that I run up the stairs instead of walking, brisk
walk where I could just doddle. And I m extremely particular about
eating lots of healthful food
Ultimate fashion statement?
Your unsaid disregard for the vain efforts of all the idiots who
think they re being fashionable
Do you support any social causes?
Yes
Do you have a pet?
Not at present. Haven t had the heart since our last dog Koochie
ran away
Cheesiest pick-up line that you've used/that's been used on you?
A girl in school once told me she had heart cancer
Your description of the perfect partner?
A Perfect Imperfection
And finally, if you weren't a VJ today, what would you like to be?
I would much rather drive grand prix cars and make movies. I m on
target as far as the latter is concerned. Hopefully TV is the last
stepping stone, so uh
